MR Car Design Tuned Opel Insignia OPC

MR Car Design Tuned Opel Insignia OPC

The German tuners at MR Car Design have released their latest project for the Open Insignia OPC. This car is the sibling to the U.S. version of the Buick Regal GS, however it received a more powerful engine. Compared to the four cylinder turbocharged front wheel drive Buick, the Opel Insignia OPC received a V6 turbocharged powerplant with AWD. Upon seeing the tuned Opel you won’t notice the power difference, but you will be amazed with how low the car rides to the ground. This baby is slammed!

This Open Insignia OPC received a G-Ride air suspension kit from Reil Performance to give it the low stance that many tuning enthusiasts now desire. MR Car Design hoooked it up with a brand new set of 20-inch alloy wheel wrapped in Hankook high performance tires that are extra low profile.

Under the hood, even though a power upgrade wasn’t all that necessary, MR Car Design is notorious for providing a nice power boost to their projects. The Germany based tuning firm initially installed a sport exhaust system, K&N air filter and then wrapped them together with a ECU remap to increase the power. Final performance numbers for the Opel Insignia OPC tuning project show 370 horsepower or 375 PS and 365 lb-ft of torque or 495 newton meters.
